Dutchess Land Conservancy, Town of Dover, Housatonic Valley Association, & Dutchess County Soil & Water Conservation District

Saturday, May 4, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at JH Ketcham Memorial Park

Help our waterways by planting native trees and shrubs!

The Ten Mile River provides vital cold-water habitat for native trout and an abundance of other important species. This project will help fortify and protect the Ten Mile River’s riparian border and help the Town improve public recreational access. Join the Dutchess Land Conservancy, the Town of Dover, Housatonic Valley Association, and Dutchess Country Soil and Water Conservation District in planting more than 200 native plants to prevent further erosion and restore the bank along the Ten Mile. We will also be scratching in a new nature trail to enjoy the native planting and removing additional invasive plants.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Where to Meet:
