Saturday, August 10, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roger Perry Memorial Preserve

Come on an adventure to explore the White Sands of Dover!

Please join us for a walk that will absolutely rock! Geo Beck, a local geologist and science communicator, will lead us along the trails of the Roger Perry Memorial Preserve in the Town of Dover to explore the geology of this unique place. Learn about the fascinating eroding limestone that formed the white sand dunes of this geologically and biologically unique area, site of continental collisions in our planet’s long-ago past. Bring yourself, a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm, and questions!
