Dutchess Land Conservancy & Audubon NY

Thursday, August 1, 7:00 to 10:00 PM at the Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary

Return of the Lepidoptera! Come experience the winged wonders of the night.

Join us to learn all about moths with local lepidopterist and DLC volunteer, Matthew Rymkiewicz. Matthew will set up two moth attraction areas so we can view and discuss the common and uncommon moths and insects we see at night. Learn about these creatures and their vital and often overlooked role in food webs, pollination, and more – all while taking in this beautiful and fascinating collection of nocturnal invertebrates. There will be a short walk from the parking lot to the event sites. Please bring a flashlight or headlight and a sense of adventure!
