Art Collings
Vice President for Conservation and Stewardship

Art Collings oversees the DLC’s land protection and stewardship programs. He works closely with landowners to understand their easement-protected properties and is always ready for the next call. He helps monitor, protect and provide advice about easement-protected land. Since arriving at the DLC in 1997, he has worked with hundreds of landowners to develop conservation planning options for their properties in order to visualize and plan for the future of their land. Art has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Colgate University and a Masters in Conservation Planning from the Conway School of Landscape Design and Planning. He enjoys bicycling, drinking iced coffee and playing games, especially chess. He also loves to read and write mathematics papers and take long car rides.
