The Dutchess Land Conservancy hosts two major annual fundraising events and countless education walks, workshops, webinars, volunteer events, and other programs throughout the year that further encourage a love of the land.
Recent walks have included rambles to discover our local bats, wildflower, moths, and geologic features. We host monthly webinars from November through April that cover a variety of topics from Hudson Valley ecology to soil health. Workshops focusing on land and livestock management have included tree identification, caring for bees, and how to get started in grass-fed dairy. There are many ways to volunteer with the DLC - trail building and maintenance, photography, education support, and more. And don't forget to check out our Nature Exploration Backpacks, available to borrow at your local Dutchess County Library.
For more information on becoming a sponsor of one of these events, please contact us at (845) 677-3002.
