The Dutchess Land Conservancy hosts two major annual fundraising events and countless smaller education lectures, workshops, and other programs throughout the year that further encourage a love of the land.
Workshops include tree identification, beekeeping, wildlife stewardship, and forest stewardship. We host lectures with local experts on topics ranging from mountain lions, to land management techniques, to attracting forest birds to your property. Our popular guided nature walks include visits to local preserves like the Dover Stone Church Preserve, Buttercup Sanctuary, and the Cary Institute, as well as access to gorgeous private properties. Every season we promote family outings like FarmFest at Black Sheep Hill Farm, the Caora Farm Sheep Dog Trials, Scavenger hunts at Wethersfield Farm, and more!
For more information on becoming a sponsor of one of these events, please contact us at (845) 677-3002.
