Experience the ecology of two DLC-protected private properties on a guided nature walk!
Dutchess County has an enduring legacy of properties that are protected for their bountiful natural resources and scenic views. Join us for a guided walk through two DLC-conserved private properties, explore the ecology of the historic Dakin Coleman and Wheeler Bassett Farms, and learn about the DLC's conservation work, all while enjoying the beautiful vistas of North East.
- This event is free.
- A light lunch will be provided following the walk.
- Leashed dogs are welcome.
- The walk includes steep terrain and some uneven paths, as well as the potential for some muddy areas. Please dress in appropriate hiking clothing and footwear. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.
