Learn about farming resources and opportunities in Dutchess and Columbia Counties!
Interested in learning about the resources available to support farming in Dutchess and Columbia Counties? The Columbia County Farm Bureau, the Columbia Land Conservancy, the Columbia County Soil & Water Conservation District, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties have come together to host a summer agricultural expo, and the DLC will be there!
Numerous farm-related organizations will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on programs available to help those currently farming, those interested in getting into farming, and landowners interested in making their land available for farming.
The expo is also a great opportunity for the general public to learn more about the farming industry in the region and how they can support farms, with several local farms attending to provide samples and discuss their work!
