Dutchess Land Conservancy & Audubon NY

Thursday, June 12, 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary

Join us for a fascinating walk among the wildflowers!

Join the Dutchess Land Conservancy and Audubon New York for a summer wildflower walk on Thursday, June 12th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Buttercup Farm Sanctuary in Stanfordville, NY. It's a great opportunity to discover the many wildflowers in our area and how to identify them. We'll have iPads on hand so walkers can use the Seek and iNaturalist apps to identify and catalog species, or you can download the apps to your own smart devices. By recording and sharing your observations, you'll create research-quality data for scientists who are working to better understand and protect natural features and resources. This will be a 2-mile slow walk on a level path around the preserve, so be sure that you have appropriate footwear.

Where to Meet:
Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary, 23 Mountain Road, Stanfordville

What to Bring:
· Snacks
· Water
· Weather-appropriate clothing
· Your smart device with Seek and iNaturalist (optional)
