An intrepid and enthusiastic group of birders joined the DLC and hosts, Audubon New York, for a Morning Bird Walk on Saturday, May 14 at the Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary in Stanfordville, NY.Birds are incredibly active on sunny spring mornings, using the time to work on their nests and hunt for food, making this the perfect time for bird watching. Using smartphone apps eBird and Merlin, guests were able to identify and catalogue bird species while enjoying the sanctuary’s well-maintained trails.
