The DLC had an amazing year in 2022, featuring the protection of 1,540 new acres, our first wildlife conservation preserve, and the start of our volunteer program.

2019 was a great year for conservation: more than 475 acres of land will remain open forever thanks to local landowners who care about the future of their land and were willing to donate conservation easements to the DLC ensuring the lands’ protection into the future.
