Earth Month was a busy time for the DLC across Dutchess County. Check out all the places we visited in April! 
We attended Earth Day Celebrations and Green Fairs in Pleasant Valley and Amenia, as well as the Dutchess County Earth Day event in Millbrook. We were also meeting with the next generation of environmentalists at the Dover Middle and High Schools Earth Day Fair, as well as a coversation on Equitable Conservation at the Millbrook School. Our volunteers were out and about planting native trees and removing invasives along the Wells Brook in Dover, removing invasives at our new Bontecou Preserve, and constructing a new trail from the Thompson Pond Preserve in Pine Plains to the fire tower atop Stissing Mountain. Whew! Normally, we'd take a minute to catch our breath, but May and June are looking just as busy.
